Home-Schooling Parents
Each individual parent will have their own unique style of Home-Schooling and we here at AAA Tutoring believe that we can easily adapt and fill in where parents are experiencing problems.
Let’s face it, Home-Schooling Parents have to wear a few different types of hats, Chemistry buff, Maths Professor, Director of studies to name but a few.
It is tricky as a Home-Schooling Parent to be able to balance day to day learning between being a parent and trying to inspire your child to see you as an inspiring educator. Some days are good, and some days World War 3 will erupt.
Home-Schooling Parents are Super Heroes…
Some Home-School Parents just feel frustrated as you do not get time-off for good behaviour, you are a family unit that spends 24/7 together and this could lead to burnout and that will put a strain on even the best of relationships.
And let us not forget the dreaded “Sibling Rivalry”. Yes, it has been confirmed, siblings that spend several hours a day, every day tend to get on each other’s nerves. They will start to argue and bicker and even though there is an age difference and different subjects are on offer, they compete. Who knew?
So, if you need an hour or two a week break from being a teacher or if a particular subject is not your forte, do not be afraid to ask for help or even out-source the subject. This does not make you a Home-Schooling failure, it makes you a better Home-Schooler and a better parent.
Quote from a Home-Schooling Mom.
